Woolly Bear Winter Festival Milwaukee Wisconsin

In celebration of the woolly bear caterpillar (isabella tiger moth), you can enjoy family-friendly winter activities outside the River Revitalization Foundation office (aka Turtle Park). There will be a bonfire, s’mores and hot dogs, sledding and ice-skating (weather permitting).

There will also be kid-friendly crafts like making a bird feeder and a winter scavenger hunt with prizes. A woolly bear play called “Northern Lights” starts at 1:30 p.m.

Woolly Bear Fest is FREE and open to the public. No registration required!

The comic book convention season kicks off in Milwaukee at State Fair Park. This is your family’s chance to dress in your favorite cosplay, meet some of your favorite characters and more. Every person who attends gets a free comic book at the door to get their day started off right.

Twenty years ago, Joe Dante brought the Looney Tunes characters back to the big screen in for this live-action/animation hybrid set in real world Hollywood, where Bugs and Daffy co-exist alongside a live cast including Brendan Fraser and Steve Martin.

The movie is playing this weekend at the Times Cinema as part of their “BFF: Brendan Fraser February” lineup.
