This annual raptor festival celebrates these powerful hunters of the sky. Go on an adventure hike, and get a closer look at raptors – owls, hawks, falcons, eagles, and more. Learn about each species, including their lifestyle habits and habitats.
Stations throughout the grounds will provide interactive and educational experiences. Learn about conservation, how to nurture and support birds around your own home, and enjoy bird-themed crafts and activities. Dissect owl pellets, build an eagle’s nest, add art to the bird chalk mural, explore the intricacies and importance of feathers, and more.
You can also sign up to have your picture taken with your favorite raptor! Cost is $15 per photo, or $30 for a photo with a Bald Eagle. There will be food trucks on hand as well.
