Experience the magic of the holiday season inside two of MPM’s most beloved exhibits – Streets of Old Milwaukee and European Village. The walkthrough turn-of-the-century streetscapes are transformed into holiday wonderlands, and this weekend is your first chance to see it.

Earth: The Art of Nature Mitchell park Domes Milwaukee Wisconsin

Larger-than-life holiday ornaments have taken over Wisconsin Avenue and Water Street to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival.

Fifteen ornaments have been uniquely hand-painted by a local or national artist with Milwaukee ties, in addition to a brand-new ornament display in the Court of Honor median on West Wisconsin Avenue.

Plus, take advantage of sweet treat deals at participating downtown restaurants and coffee shops.

Kids Night Out Wisconsin Humane Society Milwaukee Ozaukee Racine

Need an evening without the kids? Kids Night Out is for young people in grades 1-6, and it provides an opportunity for parent(s) to enjoy an evening out while the kids have an awesome time at the Wisconsin Humane Society. 

What better way for kids to end the week than making friends with other animal lovers and meeting animal guests? Themes and crafts change with every event. Each child should bring along a packed snack or dinner.

Light the Hoan will offer a 10-minute colored light show called Friday Night Lights on Fridays through December 29.

The Hoan Bridge lights have two main public viewing spots: Milwaukee Riverfront Boat Launch at 600 S. Water Street; and the Riverwalk on East Erie Street right before the Milwaukee Pierhead Light.

There are also several local establishments with views of the Hoan Bridge lights: (1) Indeed Brewing Rooftop inside the Eagleknit building; (2) Cooperage/Boone + Crockett; (3) Milwaukee Sail Loft; (4) 2A Wine Merchants; (5) The Outsider rooftop located in Journeyman Hotel; and (6) Blu at the Pfister (small corner view).
