This epic 10-day event opens with a special ceremony that includes live music, dancing, and fireworks outside on the Fox River. Weekend activities include ice sculpting demonstrations, lumberjack shows, trivia, Frosty 5K, egg hunt, beer garden. ice bocce tournament, indoor ice skating at Eble Arena, ice fishing clinics, stargazing planetarium shows, nature activities, and more! Most events are free, but some require pre-registration, like the “Timber Slide” toboggan run at Lowell Park.
Fire & Ice – West Allis

Meet up with your friends at Liberty Heights Park for an evening of winter fun, including ice skating (with free skate rentals), broomball, fire pits and s’mores, free hot cocoa, a glow stick dance party, winter crafts and activities, and more! Kegels food truck will be on site serving up beer and some of your favorite German comfort foods. Liberty Heights Park Neighborhood Association will be giving out free hats, scarfs, and mittens/gloves (while supplies last).
Winterfest at Boerner Botancal Gardens

Enjoy indoor activites, guided winter walks, and more! Walks begin at 11:00 and 12:30 and last approximately 45 minutes.

Milwaukee’s professional hockey team is in town this weekend, and there are couple of promos going on that the kids will love! After Saturday’s 7 p.m. game, head to the Aurora Sports Autograph Corner, where two Admirals players will be signing autographs.
Then, Sunday’s 6 p.m. game will be a Teddy Bear Toss Night! Bring your teddy bear or stuffed animal and toss it on the ice after the Admirals score their first goal.
