At this new temporary exhibit inside Milwaukee Public Museum, you can view 12 colorful and creative sculptures – each made of at least 1,000 canned and non-perishable food items. They were designed and built by Milwaukee leaders in architecture, engineering, and construction. Look for them in the Steigleder Special Exhibits Gallery on the Second Floor. Included with admission.

Pro Tip: Through January 28, enjoy reduced admission of $15 for Museum Days.

This epic annual event features family-friendly winter activities like an ice sculpting competition, a Frosty 5K, egg hunt, indoor ice skating, ice fishing clinics, stargazing planetarium shows, nature activities, and more! Most events are free, but some require pre-registration, like the “Xtreme Snow Slide” toboggan run at Lowell Park.

There’s a new store in Franklin that buys, sells and trades new, used and retired LEGO products, and it’s having a Grand Opening event this Saturday. This concert series makes high-quality classical music accessible to all. Admission to Saturday Classics concerts is FREE with suggested donation. This month’s theme is “A Classical Affair to Remember.”

Gain a better understanding of each concert’s theme and learn the secrets of the composers by attending Festival City Symphony’s pre-concert presentation, “Unlocking the Score.” Music educator Lynn Roginske will help audience members of all ages listen for harmonies, watch for crescendos, and feel the music more deeply. All are invited to this free talk from the stage, which begins thirty minutes prior to the concert start time.

Pro Tip: The recommended age for children to best enjoy this concert series is grade 2 and above.
