No More Lines: Brewers Launch New Parking System for Game Days

The Milwaukee Brewers are stepping up their game with a brand-new parking system at American Family Field, and it’s all about making our arrivals as hassle-free as possible.

Here’s the deal: This cutting-edge system uses license plate recognition technology, meaning we can say goodbye to the days of waiting in line to pay for parking.

The Brewers are teaming up with the local Interstate Parking Company to bring us this cool tech. It’s a first of its kind for a U.S. sports team and it’s kicking off right at our 2024 Home Opener on April 2nd.

For those of us planning ahead, we can pre-pay for our parking through the MLB Ballpark App. Just enter your license plate number and your spot is secured.

Decided to head to the game last minute? No problem. Scan a QR code in the parking lot, punch in your license plate and payment info, and you’re all set.

Plus, parking ambassadors will be on hand to guide us through this new process and direct us to our spots.

Rick Schlesinger, the Brewers President of Business Operations, shared that this change comes from wanting to enhance our fan experience right from the start—making entering the parking lots quicker and more efficient than ever.

Parking will work just like it always has, with the same entrances and the same lot opening times. And for those with Gold parking, there’s an additional entrance off Brewers Blvd. just for you.

Best part? Parking prices aren’t going up, and this new system won’t put a damper on our tailgating traditions.

Here’s a quick rundown:

  • Choose between pre-paid or day-of parking for the best rates.
  • Use the MLB Ballpark app to manage pre-paid parking.
  • For day-of parking, just scan a QR code in the lot.
  • Parking ambassadors and attendants will help direct traffic and assist fans.
  • Make sure to activate your parking session before walking into the stadium to avoid a ticket.
  • No changes to tailgating rules—so the pre-game fun remains the same!

This new system is a first for a pro sports team.

Here’s to less time parking and more time cheering on our Brewers!
