1. 51st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Milwaukee is gearing up for a vibrant celebration of Irish culture with the 56th Shamrock Club of Wisconsin St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2024, the parade will fill downtown Milwaukee with the spirit of Ireland, featuring over 100 parade units, including Irish dance groups, pipe and drum corps, and local dignitaries.

2. Parade Day Party
Following the parade, the Irish Cultural & Heritage Center will host Milwaukee’s largest, family-friendly Parade day party from 1-6 p.m.
The event will offer four stages of continuous entertainment, including performances by four dance schools, six bands, and a super raffle. Details on admission and the entertainment lineup are available at mkepostparade.us.
3. Irish Heritage Night with the Milwaukee Bucks
March 21, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.

The matchup will be jam-packed with activations highlighting Irish Heritage.
4. Irish Family Day: Passport to Ireland

This year’s “Passport to Ireland” theme will transform all three levels of the CelticMKE Center into Irish destinations for children and families.
Families will ‘travel’ to nine different counties of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Each county will feature an interactive activity which celebrates Irish culture, history, and traditions. Children will get their passports stamped along the way, earning a prize at the end of their journey.
Enjoy a variety of Irish dance performances and keep a look out for a wandering Irish storyteller!
At the Celtic Cafe, there will be lunch and snack options available.
5. St. Patrick’s Day Storytime
Milwaukee offers a wide range of St. Patrick’s Day events for families with children of all ages.
