Every year, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade fills downtown Milwaukee with the spirit of Ireland. It features more than 100 parade units, including Irish dance groups, pipe and drum corps, and local dignitaries. The parade steps off at noon from Wisconsin Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

After the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, join the Shamrock Club of Wisconsin for their biggest party of the year! The family-friendly event will offer four stages of continuous entertainment, including performances by four dance schools, six bands, and a super raffle.

Irish Family Day: Passport to Ireland

Sunday, March 10, 2024, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Admission: $7
Families will “travel” to nine different counties of Ireland and Northern Ireland, each with an interactive activity to celebrate Irish culture, history, and traditions. Get your passport stamped along the way, earning a prize at the end of your journey. Enjoy a variety of Irish dance performances, and keep a look out for a wandering Irish storyteller!

Bradley Symphony Center Milwaukee Wisconsin Festival City

This concert series welcomes newcomers and established symphony enthusiasts alike, making high-quality classical music accessible to all. Admission is FREE with suggested donation. Recommended for children in grade 2 and above.

Gain a better understanding of each concert’s theme (the theme for the March concert is “Suite Dreams of France”), and learn the secrets of the composers by attending Festival City Symphony’s pre-concert presentation, “Unlocking the Score.” Music educator Lynn Roginske will help audience members of all ages listen for harmonies, watch for crescendos, and feel the music more deeply. All are invited to this free talk from the stage, which begins 30 minutes before the concert.
