Downtown Milwaukee lights up with holiday spirit as the 24th annual Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival begins at Pere Marquette Park.

The holiday show will feature live musical performances, a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, a fireworks display to close out the show, complimentary cocoa and cookies from DoubleTree by Hilton, and free Jingle Bus tours.

If you can’t make it downtown, you can watch the festivities at home on WISN12 at 6:30 p.m.

Milwaukee’s official city Christmas tree will have a new home this year. In years past, the tree was set up at Milwaukee’s City Hall or in Red Arrow Park, but this year it has moved to the “Cheer District” outside of the Fiserv Forum.

The Tree Lighting Ceremony on Nov. 18 will include live entertainment including DJ Shawna, the Milwaukee Ballet, the Salvation Army Brass Band and more. There will also be live reindeer and holiday activities for all to enjoy.
