Milwaukee tiniest ice rink is just outside of the Milwaukee Public Market entrance. It can only hold up to eight people at a time, and requires registration. It’s free!  


9. Riverwest People’s Ice Rink

If you live in the Riverwest area, this local rink is the perfect place to skate. It’s located along the Beerline Trail in the heart of the Riverwest.


10. Burnham Ice Rink (TBD in 2023)

*** The Burnham Ice Rink is closed during the winter of 2021-22 while Milwaukee Recreation renovates Burnham Playfield. ***

Sharpen your skates for winter for this free, family experience. A limited number of skates are available for adults and 3rd-8th grade students to borrow for free on-site. Burnham also has a warming house on site. If you would like to donate skates for the Burnham ice rink this winter, stop by Milwaukee Public Schools’ central office on Vliet St. Any kind of skates will be accepted and are appreciated!
