1. Train Show (Mitchell Park Domes)

The Domes’ biggest Show Dome event of the year, the annual Train Show returns this Saturday! The theme for 2023 is “Plant-itary Orbits,” and it promises to be “an adventure like no other in the galaxy.”

Running on four tracks totaling 800 feet, G-scale trains will traverse the unusual plant orbits of miniature white azalea trees and Vietnamese cypresses, “Headliner Starry Night Burgundy” petunias, and into the deep blue space of the pansy matrix.

Come prepared to walk in search of Great-Horned and Eastern Screech owls. Each child will dissect an owl pellet to discover what owls eat for dinner! Registration required.
