2 Selfie Museums in Milwaukee Your Kids Will Love (2023)

Milwaukee is a city that never fails to delight.

One of the latest trends to hit the city is the rise of ‘selfie museums’ – interactive art installations that provide the perfect backdrop for capturing the ultimate Instagram-worthy shot.

But these museums aren’t just for adults – they’re a hit with families and kids too!

In this blog post, we’ll explore some of the best selfie museums in Milwaukee that families and kids will love, and give you some tips on how to make the most of your visit.

Photoverse Selfie Museum

3rd St. Market Hall, 275 W. Wisconsin Ave. Milwaukee, WI.

Grab your camera and immerse yourself in 3rd St Market Hall & MIAD’s creative selfie museum, Photoverse.

There are 27 multidimensional and interactive photo stalls with props and backdrops specifically designed to make your pictures pop.

Each Photoverse stall was carefully crafted by local artists from MIAD. Check out each one and enter into a world of creativity.

When you arrive, the host will connect your phone to a bluetooth clicker, and mount your phone to a tripod. You’ll be able to easily take hands-free photos with your kids.

The best part? The Photoverse Selfie Museum is located in the north hall of 3rd St. Market Hall, so there are plenty of food options right at your fingertips.

Each ticket reserves you one hour in the selfie museum. Please arrive at your designated time.

For guaranteed availability, please purchase tickets online. Tickets are available for purchase at the door, but we cannot guarantee that there will be tickets available for your preferred time slot.

We have over 20 different photo opportunities for your photo-taking pleasure. You can snap photos by yourself, with a special someone, or with a group of friends.

Tip for Visiting the Selfie Museum

Make sure your phone is fully charged before you go. You won’t be able to do anything without it.

Look at the photo backdrops online ahead of time and choose your outfit accordingly.

If you choose to tag and post your photos, be aware that the museum may share those on their public pages.
