The Cool Fool Kite Festival will take place again this year at Veterans Park in downtown Milwaukee on January 1, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This 36 year Milwaukee tradition will feature Jake the Kite Guy flying kites over 100 feet long, professional ice carvers, free hot cocoa, coffee, and snacks courtesy of Gift of Wings.
There will be hot food available for purchase and 30% sale on all kites.
If you arrive right at 11:00 a.m., you may be able to catch the Polar Plunge, where hundreds of people jump into the frigid waters of Lake Michigan.
The professional ice carving group, The Quiet Ice Carvers are National Snow and Ice Carving champions and have recently appeared on Disney+.
The festival will take place at Veterans Park, located at 1300 N Lincoln Memorial Drive in Milwaukee, WI 53132.
