Superhero Ice CAPE-ade Returns to Red Arrow Parks This Saturday

CALLING ALL SUPERHEROES!

Soaring back to “Slice of Ice” for the second year, the Downtown Ice CAPE-ade returns on Saturday, February 11 from 11 AM – 2 PM.

This family-friendly event offers an epic way to battle the winter blues with free ice skating alongside some of your favorite comic book superheroes and everyday heroes from the Milwaukee Fire Department, Milwaukee Police Department, and Team USA from the Pettit National Ice Center.

Participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite hero, whether it be from the Marvel Universe or a firefighter.

A limited number of superhero capes will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Free ice skate rentals, presented by WaterStone Bank, are also available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

BOOKMARK MAKING STATION & BOOK COLLECTION

Glow Bug Books will be on-site with a superhero bookmark making station and collecting gently used or like-new Children’s Books and Young Adult Books for The Milwaukee Rescue Mission Children.

Plus, young crafters will have the opportunity to meet current USOA Miss Wisconsin Zoe Rucinsky.
