Presented by Imagine Exhibitions, this family-friendly journey through time offers an unprecedented glimpse into the life onboard the world’s once most magnificent liner, the Titanic.

From stepping into the grandeur of the ship’s famous Grand Staircase to exploring the first-class suites and the simpler third-class cabins, visitors of all ages can immerse themselves in the Titanic’s world.

The exhibition is an interactive adventure for all ages. The Discovery Gallery, with its raised glass floor, simulates the experience of walking along the ocean floor above the Titanic’s wreckage. Kids will be fascinated by the sight of broken China in the sand, offering a tangible connection to the ship’s story beneath the waves. But the journey doesn’t end there.

The exhibition also brings to life hundreds of artifacts, including genuine items from the Titanic and her sister ships, alongside props and costumes from the 1997 “Titanic” film. These pieces, set against the backdrop of the ship’s beautifully recreated interiors, help narrate the Titanic’s story from its inception to its tragic sinking and subsequent underwater discovery.

In a local twist, the exhibition also sheds light on the SS Eastland Disaster, a tragedy that occurred right in Chicago’s backyard in 1915. Through survivor testimonials and responder accounts, families will gain insight into this lesser-known event, drawing parallels between two maritime tragedies and fostering a deeper understanding of local and global history.

“Titanic: The Exhibition” is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm, promising an engaging hour-long visit for families.
