Rooted MKE, a BIPOC children’s bookstore on 53rd and Vliet St., will be holing a meet and greet with Ellia Ana Hill – author of the picture book titled The No Boy. Enjoy a reading of the book by Hill herself, followed by a Q&A session with the author, and an activity in the bookstore’s Exploration Space.

Don’t forget to pick up a copy of this incredible book and browse the curated collection of books in the store. Freebies, coloring pages and to-go snacks are provided at this event (while supplies last).

At Vibez Creative Art Space, Saturdays are Kids Days! At the Southridge location, kids can choose from a variety of options from the arts and crafts section. At the new Bayshore location, kids can pay $13 to paint a pre-sketched canvas. All ages must be accompanied by an adult.

Don’t miss the most exciting college basketball event of the season! American Family Field has been transformed into a basketball venue for the first time in the stadium’s history in order to host a Wisconsin Badgers basketball doubleheader.

The UW women’s team will face off against Kansas State in the opening game, followed by the men’s team versus Stanford. Join the sea of red to cheer on Bucky!
