414 Day, celebrated each year on April 14th, is known as Milwaukee Day, and it’s a day to celebrate our beloved city and all who live here.
There are a variety of specials being offered around town, and we’ve put them in one place for you:
Milwaukee County Park
Milwaukee County Parks is celebrating Milwaukee Day by providing multiple exclusive offers on April 14, 2024.
First, they will be selling advanced Boerner Botanical Garden general admission tickets online for $4.14 each, redeemable May through October any day you choose.
Tickets will be available for purchase on 4/14/2024 online here.
Boerner Botanical Gardens is located just 15 minutes outside of Milwaukee in the Village of Hales Corners. Thousands of plants bring the seasons to life at the Botanical Gardens, with colorful and fragrant displays laid out in 12 formal gardens. Admission includes access to Margie’s Children’s Garden.
For kids and families, 414 limited edition stickers will be given out during normal hours of operation at the following Milwaukee County Park Locations: Mitchell Park Domes, Wehr Nature Center, Pulaski Pool, and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Kosciuszko Community Centers.
Finally, the award-winning South Shore Terrace Kitchen and Beer Garden will have $4.14 hot dogs, brats, and Miller High Life pint refills.
South Shore is one of the most popular beer gardens in the region, known for the beer, food, gas fire pits, and spectacular views of Lake Michigan and Milwaukee’s skyline. Hours of operation on Sunday are 11am to 9pm.
UW Credit Union
For any readers looking for a pick-me-up ahead of 414 Day this Sunday, UW Credit Union is giving away 12 oz. bags of fair trade, organic coffee from Colectivo beginning this Friday, April 12 (while supplies last, $15.95 value).
All of the credit union’s 12 Milwaukee-area branches are participating.
Additionally, branch visitors can enter to win a $100 Milwaukee Coffee Basket between 4/12 and 4/30 ($100 value).
Plus, UW Credit Union serves free Colectivo coffee daily, at all of its Milwaukee-area branches.
